My breath doesn't smell bad and the pasta sauce isn't strong either. I guess that's a good thing but for some reason my sauces never have that problem. :confused3 My bf thinks it's weird but cool. :confused3

I used fresh ground lean pork instead of beef and it actually tastes better. I don't think I've ever used ground pork for pasta before.

i generally use sausage.. Or turkey. I try to stay away from ground beef.

:lmao: He wants a gaming computer.. A laptop, something that has a dual processor, and a really good video card, and a high res. screen, and microsoft works, and other stuff that I dont understand because I am 100% computer illiterate!:lmao:
I'll ask DH what a good price would be. He's not really into Dell, he thinks they're overpriced, but $1500 for all that doesn't sound too bad.

So what did you guys do today? Alex come back!!

Boooo.... I slept really late, I havent been sleeping at night, so dh let me sleep in today. Then i talked to my mom, for a long time... About my dad, and my feelings and all that icky stuff. She told me I should either go to church or start counseling. The dh got up, I put the youngens to bed, and dh decided to stay home from work.. That was my day in a nut shell.. Oh, and i ordered pizza!

DH says there is no such thing as a laptop with a dual-processor, though it's been awhile since he's looked at new laptops. He was wondering if your DH means a dual core, which is a simulated dual-proc?

Oooh...pizza! :yay:

If he wants a serious gaming laptop, go to alienware.com, but these are high-end gaming machines. They are NOT CHEAP.

ETA: DH says if you're serious about gaming, there are no better machines. However, you can just look at the site for an idea of the kind of specs for a gaming machine.

He wants to know what kind of games he'll play; that can determine how much power and extras he will want.

:confused3 I have NO clue!!

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core processor TK-53

Yes... that is exactly what i mean!:lmao: :lmao: He pointed at what he wanted, and I miss read! Did you mention to him about the 100% computer illiteracy issue i have?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My bf said he does not recommend Alienware. He said their laptops suck for gaming (he bought one a few months ago and had nothing but problems).

Actually, there is such a thing as dual processors for laptops. My boyfriend has one (Alienware M5550: has a dual core intel)

My bf suggests getting a Dell. He has an Alienware laptop and he said that Alienware isn't very good. It's good for games for about the first 5-10 minutes and then the video card overheats and the game slows down. He spent $1,500 on his Alienware laptop and he said if he plays a 2D game it's fine but it can't handle the better graphics games very well.

He had the laptop for less than a month, called Alienware tech support and they asked him to send it back. It took MONTHS to get it back! He was constantly calling and was really upset with them. He complained about the overheating after just a few short minutes. They honestly don't know how to fix anything and they are lazy employees who don't give an "s" about their job.

Yeah, we have looked, and they are just a TAD out of our budget for what he REALLY wants..(about $9000.) So we are doing a dell most likely... I think... I just want him to have something so he can play his games, and do his business and not bother me while i dis!:lmao: I figure if he really wants to play games, he has his 360, most of his games are War games... and simulators.. i dont know!!:lmao: I am really bad at this,a nd I am thinking that while it is a really good idea to GET him a computer.. maybe i should just give him the money to do it!:lmao: :lmao: I sooo had my heart set on seeing the look on his face when he opened though! :cloud9:  :flower3: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: But I have a feeling it might be more like this...  :confused3 :sad2:

Alienware laptops are not good for gaming. You spend a fortune and get nothing but headaches. My bf is trying to sell his laptop. He hasn't even used it much because Alienware took so long to send it back (due to the overheating after playing a game for 5-10 minutes). My bf opened the laptop and saw that they did a half-a* job. He's trying to sell it on the car forum and wants to get a Dell.

Okay... here is what HE built... But at $1500.. Well..
