Could it be styrofoam? I could see this maybe being used on the graveyard ghosts but????? on the changing portraits? Am I way off??

OK, in the best interest of starting this thread with a question that can be answered I will tell you that the material is called "scrim" it is very thin and stretchy. The first person to post a question will get it answered.
