Just wanted to get this out there not structured and no pictures!

7 day trip!

So I basically didn't spend more then 30 minutes in any line. I got a ton of those 6 people fp's plus two sets of 6 x2 fast passes. So basically 24 fp's from the hotel and 13 fp's of the 6 people per one ticket (thank you splash mountain for breaking down on my 20 party group and giving most of us a 6 person pass. We literally SAT on star tours till we saw all the combinations we wanted (I saw em all). We actually ended the 7 week vacation BARELY using up all out fp's. I mean barely. Half of the 20 person party cut out.

My big ticket dining was horrible!

Club 33 we had the vitenars thingy with the wine pairing. Then the server (steve) who was horrible btw suggested some steak as their premier entree and it tasted meh. My dad had the aged beef and whatever and that was great so he said. Plus our server was super smug and was horrible at answering our food questions. We had two others servers just to refill water ect. they were great! I'm also kinda of over 33. It just takes up your whole night.

Steakhouse 55 was a rip off. The water wasn't free they charged us for it. Apparently it was bottled and the way they opened the bottles was they opened 4 at time leaving our last 3 bottles half open. Club 33 didn't even charge us for water. I asked my sister if she asked for the bottled water she said no... but something seems fishy. The server was great Nick from Transylvania.

Last year when I went to both of those I never felt cheated or thought my experiences weren't anything more than amazing.

This year I felt Disney ripped off. I went to the bar at the Disneyland hotel it was great but once again drinks with no prices printed. NO PRICES. So I had to ask how much EVERY drink was that I was buying. It's like really? Just be straight up! The bar and all the fun little things that happen when you order drinks and the food was amazing.

Plaza inn: Good

California adventure food: GREAT! Loved the pasta, flat bread pizza, Greek food, etc.

Corn dog's HORRIBLE. Everyone was like OH it's so good... it's not.

I stayed at the Disneyland hotel in the new rooms and 2 days in the paradise peer hotel suite and Disneyland hotel suite.

Honestly the Disneyland hotel wasn't any better to me then the paradise peer. I like the peer more because of the way the treated you and seeing world of color from the air. Paradise peer didn't have a tram to Disney so both Disney hotel and paradise peer are a walk. Disneyland hotel pool was AWESOME! The rooms and the construction was horrible.

VIP seating for fantasmic was great but I wouldn't do it again. Not the desert one but the VIP one. That's the ones who sit next to the desert ones.

The family was fantastic well as much as it could be for with 20 people.

My parents weren't around us that much but it didn't matter I was prepared for that.

Most impressive was star tours. Yes there are some combinations that are meh. The rest of them are pretty awesome!

Repeated ones were: Tower of terror, splash, toy story mania, astro blaster, winnie the pooh, star tours, space mountain, peter pan, toon town, pirates, grizzle rapids (or whatever it's called the wet tire boats) and some other kid ones I can't remeber.

The monstro story book boat was cool just do it at night cuz day is too hot.

Least impressive was little mermaid. To be honest I like peter pan more then little mermaid. What I didn't like about little mermaid it really didn't tell the story. Urusla? Really that was the big hoopla. She had like a 2 minute showing. Bad planning! It was nice how short the lines are but sometimes you feel like you are running to get on or off. Also when you have animation from the movie why have some lame computer graphic of ariel. I mean at least get some art in it.

Saw the Aladdin show hated it but the wife loved it. I hated it because it had NO abu and didn't tell the story right. I kinda know it by heart so I was like.. boo!

People were great! Crowds were managable! No cuts, bruises, face plants!

So in summary:

Park was GREAT!

Dining was not! Club 33 and steak house let me down in a big way!

Overall: Still my best disney vacation ever. Learned how to navigate the park! Learned how to navigate the big groups of people. Learned what I wanted and what I didn't want out of my disney day! Still the happiest place on earth! The chocolate place with the pretzles nuts chocolate heaven thingy... SOOOO good!

Which hotel had the little blue water slides? How old do you think a child needs to be to go on those?

Thanks for posting!

We did the san diego zoo. I'd say yes just go early when the animals are out? I'm not a fan of zoo's or animals personally but I know the kids enjoy it.

I'm going to make a better report linking up the pictures when I get time. I'm just jet lagged and in work. Plus my sister has to send me her pictures. I'll ave a better one maybe a little less negative later.

It sounds like overall you had fun. We have done several vacations with 30 + people and we usually separate into smaller groups and just play everything by ear. We have found the best type of vacation for groups to be Cruises. Did your group pretty much stay together all the time?
