Does the unofficial guide online have maps you can print out if you subscribe?
Has anyone ever looked at their mid afternoon touring plans?

Yes; they are fairly simple maps, but good enough to get you where you are going.

We rarely tour in mid-afternoon, so I can't say much about those plans. There are a few free ones available for you to check out though.

I have a subscription to the web site and I really like it. The maps are touring plan specific, so if you go to one of their sample touring plans and click on it, you will see what I mean. I looked at their mid-afternoon touring plan for Epcot and I liked it. I probably won't follow any of the touring plans to the letter, but it gives me a good idea when I should be attempting certain attractions. I also like that they have cheat sheets for each of the parks that you can print off. The cheat sheets indicate the best times to see attractions and when to avoid them. For $6.95 I think it is worth the money.

Yes, the cheat sheets themselves are worth the $7 to me. It's also a good way to get the touring plan updates without buying a new "dead tree" copy of the book each year.

Well, not quite yet. I'm still buried in frigid Michigan. We don't leave until the week after P-week...but I'm couting down the minutes, and I'm compulsively checking accuweather's long-range forecast even though I KNOW that it doesn't mean anything this far out.

(But, since the forecast is for low 80s and sun, I'll just aumme that it will turn out 100% correct.)

I have to agree, I love the paid website. It has like 90 plans. You type in the date you are going to be in that park, and it gives you a sheet with park hours, a basic map, a touring plan, and other essential details including where to find ATMs, predicted weather, hidden Mickeys and park trivia.

I also buy the book every year. Love it.

[Then again, I am loving everything and everyone this week -- I got tenured and promoted! (And yes, I am working that bit into every conversation, real or virtual. LOL!)]

Duh! Apologies, I'm simply dense.

Actually, I'm finding the grass to be a bit more black-n-gold these days. And, despite not having lived in Pittsburgh for eight years now, we still managed to dig our Terrible Towels out of storage for the game.

(We bought a new TV for the occasion, too, but as our old one was older than both of our kids---by almost double---it seemed about time.)

To the OP, I wanted to add that in addition to the paid touring plans and "cheat sheets" with best times for all the attractions, there are a lot of free touring plans, and also a free trip planner which is awesome. You can input all your info print it out in various sizes and levels of detail. And Len Testa is extremely helpful if you have a specific question.
