Unofficial Guide DCL

I noticed the Unofficial Guide to DCL is on sale for Prime Day. Is it worth getting or can I get most of that info online?

Also we are traveling on the Wish, and this version was published before it launched. Still worth the investment?

I would skip it to be honest with you. Wish is 3 or 4 night sailings and you will learn things as you sail and we will all learn things online as paid cruisers start sailing on the Wish.

I love their other guides, but the DCL one isn’t as necessary. It’s good and has lots of info, but planning a cruise isn’t quite as complicated as planning a WDW or Disneyland vacation.

I would say as an owner of this year's edition is it's not going to give you specific Wish information as they didn't know much of that at the time. If you want to read about the port cities or excursions it touches on those things but it's not in-depth. I cannot remember if it was them or Birnbaums back when they used to make a Disney Cruise guide but one of them used to list ALL the excursions. Now that Disney has expanded its ports they don't do that so much. But for the Wish they do touch on Bahamas excurisions in the UG. I wouldn't say you need it but I bought it because i like supporting them and mostly I really enjoy reading their guides (like from cover to cover every single year)
