Unmounted Rubber Stamps

Just bought my first batch of unmounted rubber stamps that need to be trimmed. I'm scared to death I'm going to ruin them. Anyone have an great tips on trimming them? Do I need special scissors to do this.

USe sharp TOUGH scissors. I used to use my 'chicken shears' - kitchen scissors that would cut through chicken joints. Do straight short cuts rather than trying to round the pieces closely.

Now SU stamps all I have to do is punch out, thank goodness.
