Not that I'm dreaming away my time at work or anything but when I came up with this very important question I didn't want to chance forgetting it by the time I got home :)

Lapu Lapu.:goodvibes They are expensive, but very delicious.:earsboy:

YES by all means the Lapu Lapu. You only need one. Two would make you knee walkin' drunk.

I loved the Pina Colava at the Barefoot Bar. If you eat at Kona Cafe, the Island Sunset is soooo good! Maybe they make them at the Tambu Lounge - I'm not sure.

If you can find a bartender that knows how to make a Seven Seas it was an original signature drink, it was served in a tiki cup.

Okay - Lapu Lapu, any idea what is in it or is it better left a secret... and the Seven Seas - I love drinks that aren't actually on the menu - makes me feel like a bit of an insider :hippie: Last trip I ordered a special marg at Margaritaville that I found on the boards that was not on the menu and that's all I needed all night (believe me - potent).

Now I only need two more drinks for the Poly - then NINE more for the BC! :surfweb:

That way I can do a cocktail review :cool2:

Lapu Lapu was good, but a little strong for me. I preferred the Pina Colava's and the Sunken Treasure.

Another vote for the infamous Lapu Lapu - it was the highlight of our Aug. DIS meet! :thumbsup2 It's made of light and dark rums, orange juice and sour mix. The thrill is really the pineapple. ;)

Good lord yes - The Island Sunset at Tambu Lounge is the BEST drink I have ever had in my life. We make at least 1 or 2 trips there each trip (in addition to Ohana) just to get it. Only problem is, if you drink more than 1, not only will you be drunk, but you won't be hungry for dinner. They're very filling.

Just FYI --

Pina Colavas and Sunken Treasures are available across property @ pool bars :)

If they still have it at the Tambu Lounge, check out the Backscratcher. It comes with a wooden backscratcher that is about two fee long. A very nice backscratcher. My husband had to get two drinks so we would have a matching set of backscratchers. We still use them from about five years ago.

Pumpkin Martini ---- This was during Oct. Season ----- Delish --- Love the Guitar Player in the Lounge ... It's a wonderful way to start off your evening... at the Poly..
