Does it make sense that all these dining reservations are full for the Fantasmic Dining Package the first week of March? It was like that when my 60+10 days opened on Dec 30th for a Feb 28th check in date. I have a hard time believing it would be completely booked all week already.

I've been wondering the same thing. I've been checking over the past few months and yet to see the Fantasmic dining packages sell out, yet they're showing the slashes all the way through the first 2 weeks at this point. From the 1st to the 14th, the only available days are the 3rd, 4th, 6th and 9th.

I chatted Disney support, because we're there the week of the 9th and they said dining packages were not available those days. They didn't say they were full. They also didn't offer any explanation. It doesn't seem to me they are full, because at least with other reservations, that's a different icon on the date.

Glad I'm not the only one. I called as well and they said that no one has booked any of them, so they aren't full, just not available to book. They weren't even sure of a reason. I have a dining alert set up specific for the dining package in case it does open up. Otherwise, I just booked a regular table service restaurant.

That was my take. Something is up with the Fantasmic offering for those couple of weeks (so far), but they're not sharing what. I just wish they would fess up as to what the issue is, not so much that it'll ruin my day to not have the reservation deal, but more because I'd like to know if it's something else that's going that will impact our time in that park, during our vacation.

For what it's worth, I was checking and the Fantasmic package is now available for the first 2 weeks of March.

Although I have been going to Disney since before my kids were born (now 32/28), I have never done the Faantasmic Dining.
I bring my dd and 2 grandsons and my mom while the guys stay home, but thinking in May this may be something my oldest dgs may enjoy.

Does getting the package alleviate the need to wait in line? Do I get better seats?
If above is the case, what time do I want to book my dinner so we can get one of the front rows.

Thank you very much!

There is a separate seating section in the middle of the theater for dining package tickets. If you want to get front row, you'll still need to be in line with your dining package tickets early. The main advantage we find with the dining package approach is that we don't need to be in line 45-60 minutes in advance - we can get there 15-20 minutes before showtime and still get a good viewing spot (not front row, but center - not sure the front row is the best place to enjoy the show anyway).

But you'll see the dining package options will be earlier in the day - either for a lunch meal or an early dinner. They want you to be able to out of the restaurant at least 90-120 minutes before show time. If it's a night they have 2 Fantasmic shows, you'll want to be sure you know which show you want to attend - it'll be listed on the dining reservation before you accept it.

Thank you.
I had no idea there were two shows, I think we went once.
I need to look for times, this is all new to me LOL

Thanks.

Certain busier times of the year they'll run 2 shows, but not all the time. It can make it more challenging to plan.
