What's the deal with this?
Is it a first time event at Hollywood Studios?
I've never heard of it before, is it just a chance to see and meet Disney Villains and watch them dance?

If that's all it is, I can't comprehend grown adults going out of their way to get their picture taken with park characters, but to each their own.

We're doing MNSSHP for the first time in October, but it's more because of the shorter lines for the rides. We'll probably check out the parade and fireworks since many people say they are very good productions.

Limited Time Magic on a Friday the 13th

They're doing a different event almost every weekend this year st disney world. Like star wars weekend. Villains weekend. Long lost friends weekend. Etc

One of the great things about WDW is that it appeals to kids of all ages. As you can see from tonight's reports, clearly there are many of us who enjoy seeing extremely rare characters.

I personally wouldn't blow $60 for a mere 8 hours in MK just to ride rides when I can do that 300+ days a year for far less. But to each their own. ;)

I think the rare opportunity to see a fireworks show in DHS is also a part of the reason for the huge response.:)

I think a huge part of the problem is DHS has 2 entrance with only 4 lanes total. All 3 other parks have 10+ Lanes. They should've detoured some of the parking to the water parks and used buses.

I was there and it seemed to me that about half the crowd was there to drink, hook-up, and fight. They could care less about villains. If it had been just villain fans and they had spread it out around the park, I don't think it would have been nearly as bad.

Awesome!:)

I have always loved watching IllumiNations from POP.:)

Guests who were in DHS last night are calling it the best fireworks show in WDW history!:)

What? I wouldn't go that far! Hallowishes is better and that special summer fireworks at MK a couple years ago were both way better, imo.

I'd say they were better than HalloWishes. But I'll verify that again in a few days when I see it. I didn't see the special summer fireworks at MK though.

From the people I talked to that night, which was a lot because we ended forming a group while watching the fireworks, everyone thought they were the best, too. Most of the people with us were locals who go often.

We're locals, too. I just love the perimeter effect and soundtrack to Hallowishes. The ones at DHS were very good, esp given the rarity of seeing fireworks inside the park but I wouldn't call them the best ever.
