I need some help. I just realized that I need to apply to a university in 10 months and im really scared. It feels like im growing so fast and im not ready to.

Anyways, Im probably going to have to go to a University that is not in my town but that will cost me even more money.

Question for you is: Do you have to pay your way through University?

I feel you pain. I just finished with all that. I'm just recieving my acceptance letters now. All of my school are out-of-state, so they cost a little more than in-state schools would, but not by much. Most of them are around $21,000 a year. My parents are paying for most of it, but I have to take out a couple loans and stuff. No biggie though.

it's not that bad. I just applied to college in October and I heard back from most of my schools by November and in March I am going to FINALLY commit to one. And to answer you question yes I do have to pay my way through college, because my mom paid for my high school education and she doesn't have any money to pay for my college education.

My parents are paying for all of it. I don't qualify for any financial help but I might research a few scholarships. I am going to a local University (it's pretty small) so they're cheaper than most schools. I'm getting a job soon and I'll put half of it away in a savings account, I wanna let it build up until I'm older and I really need it.

My parents want me to start school this fall, but I've convinced them to let me have a year off. There's no reason to rush, especially since I'm so young. I'll be working though, so I don't go bored out of my mind.

Luckily my parents are paying for a lot of my education. I will of course have to take out some student loans, but they've offered to pay a lot of my tuition, room & board books and nursing fees. I'll be going to a private university ($25,000/year) and R+B is around $10,000. But I got a scholarship for $6,500 so that helps a little. I paid for the deposit that I just sent in to reserve my spot in the class of 2012 which was $400. And I need to provide my own spending money but I don't think that's at all unreasonable because I do anyways. I'm planning on saving a ton over the summer and hopefully that will last me 1st semester and maybe a little into 2nd. Plus I hope to get a workstudy or on campus job

Good luck with everything, and try not to stress too much!

I'm paying for most of my education. My parents will help where they need too (I believe with meal cards, residence and things like that), but I don't think they're paying my entire way through.
I'm basically relying on student loans and scholarships. I'm so afraid of student loans, they seem like some big scary monster that wants to eat me.
I would like to be have an internship that pays, just so that I could be getting experience and have money to pay for things (like at Disney, or something like what my brother is doing).
I don't know how much it's going to cost me. There's still 3 years to go, and by then school will be much more expensive. All I know is I won't be going to school here in NB, it's just too expensive.
