Any guesses as to when single day tickets will go public? 🔮 DH & I are current AP but kids are not. lol. They will be mortified if we don't bring them. teehee (Not planning to attend until late fall.)
No clue. Honestly I don’t know if there’s a precedent for requiring three day tickets to attend a theme park so it’s hard to say when they’ll lift that restriction. They can sort of afford to wait it out a bit and see how things fill up through three day tickets and AP.

Did finally here back from Universal - this is some of their official response:

"We experienced multiple technical difficulties this day, affecting multiple Annual Passholders.
Upon further review of our internal systems, I do see your account and Pass is linked successfully. We still understand your frustration and understand these difficulties. As a few days have passed, it no longer takes as long to wait in the queue for the Special Passholder Opportunity page on our website. I recommend attempting now
"

I did try again on line and it still does not work - even though its linked. reached back to them and they said to call in - that does not fix my account. I should not have to call in to have my account fixed - what are they going to do on the phone that they cant do in response to an email as far as fixing my account?

Considering that they had problems that affected multiple Annual Passholders they would have some sort of a resolution.
They are still selling multiday tickets including opening day and weekend.
They will most likely be selling single day tickets before it open.

We're slated to be at Universal in April 2025, a month before the grand opening of Epic. Would you suppose any of it will be accessible in April? I don't care for harry potter (the title character always seemed so .... weak, compared to characters like Hermonie) but the other elements sound interesting. We have the Universal CC, I'll have to see if it comes with benefits like our Disney CC. Free parking would be nice.

Def not to the general public. There may be TM and AP previews of some sort, but thats it

Yea, I expect this to be the case. Maybe I should make nice with someone that has a PRESS badge? lol

Discounts on most food & merch, no parking discounts. There's a list on their terms that indicates which restaurants participate in the discount.
Bummer on parking. Restaurant discounts are always appreciated since the food is usually overpriced to begin with!
I'll have to check to see he full list of benefits, I really just got the card to have the Minions on it!

Was in Japan last month and took a trip to Universal Osaka, the idea was that the Donkey Kong area was initially scheduled to open Spring 2024, so planning for November would mean I'd have enough of a gap in case of delays, working out the kinks, etc. Well, it kept getting delayed and opened today 😐. When I was there they had a temporary wall set up, you could see the gold monument from the upper level of the Mario area though.

Anyway, it was a good time! Had already done SNW in Hollywood but was neat to see the "full" version of it. Wait times were insane though, very crowded, made sure i had express for this. Obviously it’s hard to predict what waits at EU look like but it’s easy to imagine spending a lot of time in just this area.

How far ahead of our trip can I buy the Universal fastpass/lightening lane/line hop passes? We're not staying at a Universal hotel.

I purchased daily tickets but in hindsight, maybe APs would have been a better choice.
I read the tickets say "non transferrable" and "non refundable" but does that also mean non upgradeable?
Before I call, has anyone had success in doing this?

Is this a question about Universal in general or Epic Universe?

You're about to tell me I posted in the wrong place. I'd say thanks but I'm not feeling magnanimous.
To be completely honest at first glance I wasn't entirely certain and thought there might be a possibility that you were just confused about how EU tickets work (there have been questions about single day purchases and AP) but sure, that works too.

I feel your pain, I've been to USO mid November too. Seeing the temple in the distance and not being able to go was painful :(
But then I think it would have probably had a 5 hours wait or a $300 express pass, so I don't think I would have experienced it anyway. (OMG the lines are insane at USJ, I've been there in 2016 and it was nowhere like this)

I'm still confused! The goal for me is to be able to go to Epic more than one day during our visit in Sept. 2025. If this means buying two 3-Day Park Packages, then so be it. We plan on staying at Portafinio and then move to Helios anyway. so, that would be fine. However, if a Seasonal Pass would allow us to do the same thing with more flexibility, extra perks and extra Park days, I would like that better. But, I'm hearing that the UOAP must be activated on-property before you can add/link the Epic add on tickets. Since I'm coming from California I can't just run over to the park and activate the UOAP. By the time I get to the park in Sept the days I want could be sold out. If I get the multi-day passes now, l can lock-in the dates and if the ticket policy changes between now and then my travel agent can always make charges. It just seems all so limiting now. How do they expect to sell multi-day Helios Hotel stays if you can only go to Epic once? I get they are trying to control crowds but there must be a better way.
