We are planning to go to Universal Orlando for the first time. We are only planning to go one day, one park. 4yo DS is currently 41" tall and 2yo DD is currently 36" tall. We're going end of August. We are planning to be there for park opening.
We are not park hopping because I think it'll be too much for the kids for one day. We can't do more days because our other days are planned for WDW and Legoland. The main reason for going is for all the Simpsons stuff (for DH). I am a Harry Potter fan, but I know we'll be back and I can enjoy that later.
So Universal Studios is our park of choice. We plan on doing the following (all if we can; most if anything) with possibly doing child swap or not doing the 40"+ rides at all:
Minion Mayhem, Transformers, Simpsons Ride, George Goes to Town, Fievel's Playland, Duff Brewery (Duff for the parents), Barney, Woody Woodpecker, ET, Kang and Kodos.
Am I missing rides/shows/things to do that are good for young children?
Is getting an Express Pass (single use) worth it?
