Universal to Planet Hollywood taxi price

I will be going from ASM to Universal and got a price of $35 from Mears but going from Universal to Planet Hollywood she said it was only $15 anyone else ever go from Unv-PH what was your price?

I also got a quote from a town car company of $40 each way, I was thinking of taking the town car to Universal then just catching a cab to DTD.

I don't want to do Mears shuttle, I took it a few weeks ago and it takes forever to get there and back.

She said it was 17 miles to Universal but only 5 miles from Universal to PH, I really didn't think it was that close so thats why I am asking for anyone who has taken this trip, what did you pay?

I took a cab from RPR->Premium Outlets ($15), then from Premium Outlets to DTD ($10). Going back to RPR was a straight shot and $18. If you're staying at a hotel with a shuttle to SeaWorld, you might want to consider taking it, then getting the cab from there to DTD (it's about midway between the two).

DTD is the closest area of WDW to Universal Studios. Not sure if the difference is 12 miles, but it would be a sizable difference in distance.
