Any suggestions on the best place to buy Universal tickets? Undercover tourist appears to be the cheapest US price but wondering if there is a place I can buy them that can help a bit with the exchange.

CAA just redirects you to the Universal site where you pay in USD and there doesn't appear to be any actual discount :(

Im the same with the CAA - doesn't appears to be any discount.
Am I missing something?

On previous trips (travelling from the UK) there always seemed to be some incentive to shop around for Universal tickets (either discounts or additional freebies) but that doesn't seem to be the case in North America

I'd physically go to CAA and see what they've got in store.

We went to universal in 2011 and we physically went to the CAA office in town and bought them as they were cheaper then undercover tourist. We are going there this december before we go to WDW, I haven't bought my Universal tickets yet, I was waiting to closer to Dec in case exchange goes down. Then I will check CAA again.

Forgot to say, the CAA office still made us pay in US Dollars.

Thanks, I don't have a membership but one of the other people going does so I'll get them to check. The office is right by their house so it should be easy for them to pop in.

CAA offers discounts on multi day tickets for Disney (normal 3&5 day Magic your way) and rarely and discounts for Universal. You pay in USD so it doesn't sve on exchange anyways. I don't even know why they advertise discounts on their website.

I use UT for all my Disney tickets, but often find that the Universal site has specials that you can't access through UT making them cheaper to buy direct from Universal. Think we have only bought our Uni tickets from UT twice in the past, all other Uni trips we bought direct. But do watch the final price with taxes and shipping to be sure you are getting the best deal.

Also, soften the blow by purchasing with a credit card that does not charge any foreign exchange fees like Amazon, Marriott or Sears cards.

We purchased our January tickets for Universal from Undercover Tourist. They were the cheapest we could find. The exchange rate wasn't quite as bad in January but it still wan't any where near good!
