Universal tickets

Hi all

Am wondering about buying the family one day Universal tickets as a surprise for Xmas. We have six nights off site pre Disney and are going to do two days at lego land and have a day off or so but thought it would be rude not to sneak a day at Universal in there as I have not been for 20 years

Does anyone happen to know the best place to get them from? They seem mighty expensive on the searches I am fojng? Have asked on the Universal forum but not much happening???

1 day tickets to any theme park is going to be expensive. Often agents don't even sell them because of the high price.

A 1 day 1 park ticket is $96.87 incl tax (incl $1 discount buying online, wow) just over £60pp

1 day 2 park ticket $133.15 just over £83pp

Due to high costs of the 1 day tickets most UK travelers buy the 14 day tickets at around £90, TR here at £91 http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/attractions/ProductDetail.aspx?PI=700

Or AP's and then get discounts, savings on hotels can easily be greater than cost of an AP.

I have looked at universal as would love to take the family but think its not worth the price for 1 day so next time we do Florida I will prob do universal and seaworld can spend money on something else. How about booking a surprise wishes dessert party?
