Universal Tickets & ID

I have an idea on how to get Universal Tickets relatively cheaply. We are going to spend one day between the two parks in June, but the two parks power pass isn't very economical. Here's my idea, I buy 3 day (the kind that never expire) passes at Ticketmania for $110.00 each. We each use a day on the tickets and then put the other two days for sale on Ebay when we get back. 1/3 of $110 is $36.67. If I can sell the two days left ($110 - $36.67) for $73.33, we will have saved better than 50% off the gate price for the two parks power pass.

While I know some may consider it less than ethical, what I'd like to know is, is it possible? Do the tickets have your name/picture on them and do they require any kind of ID? Thanks for your help. And yes, I am a little devil.

I can tell you that the two-day passes do not have any identification on them. Therefore, I believe you are free to resell them to whomever you want.
I still have a two-day pass with a day remaining, but I also now have a PAP that I already renewed once and plan on renewing as long as my kids are still around. I was thinking of selling the remaining day on the two-day pass, but figure I'll just give it to someone I know if they say they're going down and need the extra day.

Make sure that you understand the eBay rules regarding the sale of partially used passes before you put them up for auction. The rules can vary from state to state. Check the rules out here: eBay - Resale of Tickets Policy

Also, people will be more inclined to purchase the passes from you if you have been registered at eBay for a while, have a lot of positive feedback and are willing to take credit card payments via PayPal. Keep in mind that eBay will keep a percentage of what the final sale price is, and eBay will also charge a listing fee that they will collect if the passes sell or not.

Whether it is ethical to sell them is not up to me to judge. I'm not the park-pass cop and I don't play one on TV.
