Debating E-ticket or shipped to home? Any problems with the e-tickets? Do you just scan them right at the gate? I'm a little hesitant to let those tickets be floating around the USPS routes for up to 7 days if I choose ship to home.

When we bought through maple leaf tickets and then UCT there was no issue with having them sent. UCT is a highly reputable company that will have your back should the tickets not make it to you. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Not sure how their e-tickets for uni work but e-tickets through universal itself work in that you carry your printout the whole time and have that scanned. No thank you.

We have had tickets shipped from Undercover Tourist several times and never had a problem. They are credit card size and fit in lanyards. I think if you print off tickets it is a standard size piece of paper that you carry around. Seems like a hassle.

I just bought tickets from undercover and they got to my house (western TN) in a couple days, very fast, before I was even looking for them. I bought them on either Friday or Saturday and they were here either Mon or Tues. The tickets are like a heavy paper, Disney's were the same. They did come in the basic envelope though and my husband thought they were something else, so watch for that (they came really fast so we weren't looking)

I just purchased mine about 20 minutes ago and choose the e-tickets because I do not trust my luck with the mail. I read on the Disboards paper tickets can be traded for the cards at Universal guest services.

It always seems like the line for guest services is really long. I wonder if there is any other place you can exchange it for a ticket?

It states on the UT website that E-tickets can be taken straight to the front gate. That means that these are print-at-home tickets.

I don't believe there is any other place to exchange these other than guest services.

I advise that you print out a few of these and save them in case they get wet or damaged.

We just received our tickets from UT by mail last week. We are residents of Canada, so they indicated that delivery time would be 12 days when using the ship-to-home option. We didn't want e-tickets (we wanted the small, fit-in-a-lanyard-pouch size which we could go straight to the gate with), and had plenty of time before our April trip, so waiting for the mail was not a problem. Delivery to our mailbox was well before the 12 day promise (within a week) and we couldn't be happier with the service.

I just ordered e-tickets from UT and they say I can just go straight to the gate with them.

Thank you all for your advice. I actually went ahead and purchased the tickets shipped to home. I noticed on the website when I went to buy e-tickets it said you had a name a lead person and that person's name would be on everyone's ticket and they would need to be present for admission each time. My DH sometimes likes to stroll in to the park later in the morning and meet us, so I didn't want to have to chance not being able to have that for an option.
