We only have 4 nights in Orlando this year and so thought we would concentrate on Universal and not bother with Disney.

Does anyone know of the best tickets deal for us for visiting Universal parks for 3 days ? Dont mind if we have days left over for next year.

Also do Universal use a fastpass system like Disney and is it as quick as staying onsite and using FOTL room key. I should add that we are there over Columbus day weekend so guess it will be extra busy.

Many thanks !

Hello:D
Have you tried looking at www.mousesavers.com they have a section on universal and they will know where the cheapest tickets are... also i have just bought mine from www.themeparkland.com they were the cheapest i could find and that was throuh looking on mousesavers.
Good luck

Yes, Universal do have a FastPass equivalent. The FOTL uses the same entrance to rides as Universal's Express Pass. The only difference is that there are restictions to the number of Express Pass tickets you can hold at any one time (same as with FastPass).

I got the 2 park/3 day ticket (with 11 days free) from themeparkland for £64 each. I think its a great deal but the days are consecutive so cant be kept for next visit.

There is no restriction on FOTL if you are staying at one of the Universal hotels.

We are going in August and got a power pass (annual pass) for about £67 per person - obviously if you time your visits right then you could use it next year. The only thing is there are some blackout days so it depends when you are going. You can see what the black out days are if you go to the Universal studios website and look in the ticket store.

Buy a kodak disposable camera at universal and get a voucher for a express pass for 5 attractions see mousesavers:Pinkbounc

You can also buy a book of Express Passes. They're valid once per attraction, but you have to buy one at each park.

many thanks for all your advice. Mousesavers looks a brilliant site.....lots of useful information.

Think we will book for the PBH or RPR and then we are sure of not waiting in line too long. Just got to make a decision on which one now !!

You get Universal Express access on the day you check in (whatever time you check in - even as early as 8:00 am) and on the day you check out (right up until the parks close)

Julie

ps We tried RPR back in April - trying PBH next time

What about those ticket buyer/sellers that sit in those booths in the front of shops on IDrive....don't they specialise in "2nd hand" tickets with a few days left ?
I always ignore them myself mind, and given your limited time there, you probably don't want to mess around....but just a thought.
