Universal Ticket Prices going UP!! No more $99.99 for weeklong pass!

thanks for the tip off folks, had started to recently and didn't know about the porice hike; just got ours from dreams at $99.99 :thumbsup2

I bought mine off of Expedia, they are still selling for $99. Get them now...they are selling fast.

As an ex-resident of Cleveleys myself, I tip my hat to you! :) Let's hope that the lancashire sun can attempt to actually pop it's head out at least once this summer before we head off, in order to actually enjoy the benefits of living where we do! Last few years have been dreadful!! Really doesn't help when you're reading & dreaming about the Florida sun all day! :rotfl:

Was in St Annes this morning at M & S food store. :)

Just ordered 3 $99 tickets from dreams unlimited for us to use in 2012! I already had them for this year but decided that this was too good a price to let it pass by. Only ordered 3 as my eldest will be 18 by then and don't know whether he will come with us or not by then! Hope he does!!

Ok just grabbed mine before the price goes up and went for Print At Home.
The ticket says simply present it at the gate with photo ID as well as the credit card used to purchase the ticket - here's where the problem lies tho. The tickets were a present from my mum so her credit card was used to buy them!

Will we get turned back at the gate?

:goodvibes

Could take a photocopy of Mums credit card and ID I suppose, or contact them now and ask for advise.

Cheers Wayne, will fire them an email.
Will also be using that credit card to book RPR too which may help :)

:goodvibes

We always use the Print-At-Home tickets that say the require photo ID and credit card. We've NEVER been asked for either - they just scan the tickets at the gate and register your fingerprint. You'll be fine. Enjoy. :goodvibes

Hi All
Just to say thanks for the info, I haven't been on here in ages and lucky I did.
Just ordered from Dreams!:thumbsup2

Exchanged our print our tickets for proper tickets at guest services, didn't ask for any proof of identity/payment. Same with Seaworld tickets as well wasn't asked there either.

Did you do that just because you prefer the smaller card-sized tickets?, because the print-at-home tickets can be used straight at the gate; there's no need to exchange them at guest services.

4 x A4 sheets of paper compared to small credit card sized tickets - no brainer! As I don't trust the rest of the family to carry stuff around I have to do it and also after experiencing the wet rides and picking up our Blue Man Tickets with a soggy piece of paper with our order number on, luckily it was just about legible, made the box office chap laugh!

Just found this thread, had been putting off buying Universal tickets hoping for better exchange rate and/or lottery win......:confused3

Looks like I missed the Dreams Unlimited one, but just bought from Expedia - £78 ($124 at todays rate) for adult 14 day 2 park ticket....think that's the best I'm going to get.

Printing off vouchers now, DH moaning but NO WAY am I going to miss WWHP!!!:wizard:

Thanks for the heads up folks!

That's interesting. Some of you bought the Universal tickets from undercovertourist but they told me I couldn't buy them as they can only sell those to US and Canadian citizens. How does that work then?

Hmm, we were going to buy from them but the price went up so bought from Dreams Unlimited instead, must admit I wasn't aware of any country restrictions.

Can't see them on their site, maybe because they were not on the system they assumed they were for US only but really not there at all. Not sure.
