Hi all. Staying onsite WDW at POR later this month. Any idea how much a taxi would cost to Universal studios and maybe Seaworld as well. Thanks very much.

Hi Tim,
I have just looked at Mears website for you and they do estimates from where you're staying to where you want to go.Well from Epcot to Universal its coming up $29.75.Magic Kingdom to Universal $37.75.
Magic Kingdom to Seaworld $29.75 and Epcot to Seaworld $21.75.Can't seem to get it to come up the WDW hotels thou.Hope this helps.x.

If you were thinking of a taxi it would be cheaper to catch the resort bus to DTD then get a taxi, as opposed to catching one at POR.

Cheaper option would be to go via the mears shuttle bus, POR can call them for you, approx $14 return trip(they also go to seaworld), it does pick up at other hotels, but this doesnt add on much extra time, if you catch the earlier pickup time.

OR
If there are a few of you get a indepedant travel company, like ***********, where you pay via the car not per person.

Is there no chance of a car? what you save in taxis and cheaper(and better) offsite dining can almost pay for a car and makes a more enjoyable holiday IMHO.

I would also get the resort bus to DTD and then get the taxi from there! We usually get one from near pleasure island. We get one of the big 6 seaters and it usually costs $30 between us all.

Thanks for all the replys and a to snowy-girls for taking the trouble to look up those prices for me. Most of my time will be at WDW and will not need a car but thanks for the Idea though Wayneg.

We tend to stay at on site for most of the trip so we have used Mears shuttles from WDW to Seaworld and Universal. It is about $16 each for return.
Basically this is a bit like a mini bus and thay run scheduled trips each way throughout the day, think it was every hour but you need to book for pick up anfd call them a couple of hours before departure,
