Is it just me or is US/IOA very slow? We didn't have to wait to ride anything on Sunday at all. I'm wondering if it's because of people holding off to go once the WWoHP is open....we're going back on Friday to take some out of town guest and I'm hoping it'll be just as slow!

Well schools let out this week here in Citrus county.I don't know about Hillsbborough, but thats gonna be the turning point for locals with AP's going on the weekends.
Now come June 18'th its not gonna matter at all for the rest of the summer at the least..imo

I go pretty every weekend (1 day or both days) and it seems Saturday is usually a busier day. Sunday was very quiet which was nice. I was able to do a lot and it was enjoyable.

May 28th is Friday which is the beginning of the package thing for HP, so I think crowds may begin flocking in then, along with Memorial Day crowds.

I think we're just about to say goodbye to slowness at Universal for awhile. :(

We were there (US)also this past sun and walked on every ride.I think the longest we waited was 10 minutes for the ROTM.

We were in US,during the Easter Holiday, and even then the wait times were less then 30-45 minutes for everything.I think at 1 point the Simpsons were 60 but that was the longest by a long shot.At night, there was plenty of room to see Cinesphere 360.

We'll be down there Sunday, but we're going to hide out until Tuesday. We think that this weekend is going to be crowded up until Monday.

I'm very interested in the crowds because this should give a barometer as to how the summer's going to go. But this is our time for US/IOA.

What dates is Cinesphere on from? Is there a Uni page confirming?

I'm pretty sure they'll start this summer when their hours increase. Their 'summer' starts when I get out of school, which is June 12th, so I would think around there.

They already have the globes back in the water for Cinesphere 360, so it's definitely coming. :)

That's good to hear :) I was worried they wouldn't have it on when we're there, which is June 21st

Believe it or not, Sunday is traditionally one of the least crowded days at amusement/theme parks (this will not hold true when Monday is a holiday). Someone on another site once studied known attendance patterns amongst several parks and ranked the days of the weeks from most to least crowded. I'm going by memory here, but I believe it went SAT-FRI-THURS-MON-WED-SUN-TUES.

Remember, those are based on averages, but certainly from my experience Sundays, particularly the mornings, can be extremely slow. And if you want absolutely dead, go first thing on Mother's Day - you'll find a ghost town almost everywhere.

I think Mr. Potter is going to change all that. ;)

Should be somewhere on their webpage, but havent seen it yet.
Saw it in a local paper I think shich is why we went when we did.

I want to say its only for a few weeks not the entire summer, though it may change. Im curious to see how long they run it. The first year I think they cut it short due to technical difficulties.
AFAIK, theyve never taken the floats out of the water. They may deflate them, but thats as far as Ive seen them go.

I can't be sure myself since this is the first year I've had an annual pass and am going weekly. I don't really look at the water much, so I can't really say one way or the other about the globe things always being there.

hmm maybe we won't be so lucky then. Would be nice to see that show, though, since I've never seen it before :)

Cinesphere is only there for a little over a month? Sadly we miss it since we won't arrive until 8/14. I'll see that thing someday!
