Universal Studios Valet Parking

Does anyone know if this is worth $15 that is charged for it. Are you really that much nearer than the usual parking.

You are closer but I don't think that its worth the extra 7 bucks they charge. You mileage may vary. Anybody want to guess as how much closer you are? 300-400 yards maybe? That sound right to anyone?

The actual cost to valet over self-park is $8 ($16 vs. $8 -- it's also $8 for PAP holders with free parking as they give you an $8 credit if you valet) plus the buck or two tip.

Is it worth it? I think so. Yes, you aren't that much closer than you would be in the garages, but you also don't have any traffic at all when you leave. The downside is that depending on when you leave you may have to wait a bit for your car to be retrieved.

We love the valet parking...we find it is much closer. We use it all the time.
