I have just return to UK from a trip which included Universal Studios Orlando.
My DS has problems which make waiting in line difficult and also we are restricted by his health problems as to how much time we can spend in the park.
Although we got a card which allowed two people in the party to wait in the baby swap area which effectively meant we could use their express lane, it just was not sufficient.
The staff here were totally unhelpful and made us feel as though we were pulling a fast one.
There were four of us in the party. This is not a large party (2 adults.2 children)
It meant we could only do part of the park as we wanted to do the park as a family like other families with "normal" children do.
I wrote to Universal when I got home and they were terrible.
They avoided answering any of my questions.
Has danyone else had problems with the GAC at Universal (iecan you get the card for more than two people)
and does anyone else know about the types of GAC abailable at Universal.
One final point...
Has anyone ever complained at Universal and how did they get on.

We've only been to Universal 2 or 3 times, but we found them to be most UN-accomidating. In general, they said "Our lines are all wheelchair accessible and that is all we are required to provide."
So, we haven't been there in 6 or 7 years.

The staff at Universal treated me MUCH better than the CM's at Disney, where I've had a terrible time this past year. We had hotel cards from RPH so didn't need a GAC, but I'd gone into Guest Relations to inquire about their disability guidebook. Before I could utter a word, a manager came around the desk and offered me a GAC card for my whole party to use their Express Pass during our stay. At the attractions, their hosts and hostesses were so nice to us, again as compared to the CM's at Disney who often called me "the chair". At WDW they refused to even read my GAC, which by the way is one with green ink writing and says " do everything possible to expedite our visit to the attractions". I was always argued with over it and often the CM's refused to do what it said. I'm sorry you had trouble at Universal as I know how mistreatment can affect your whole vacation. ---Kathy

I don't have much to say here, I'd just like to say I mirror dclfun's report of Universal
