Universal Studios help

I am planning for a March trip to Disney and both Universal parks. We will be doing two day base tickets. I know that the day we go to IOA we need to head straight to Harry Potter. However,what are the "must do right away" attractions at Universal? This is my family's first trip to the Universal parks. Please give advice on where to head to first once arriving to Universal Studios. We will have nine people in our group. The kids' ages range from 2 and 1/2 all the way to 16. Thanks for your help!

Rip Ride Rockit tends to build up a line quite quickly. I'd probably do that first.

I would second the PP. RRR tends to build quickly. All the other rides are not bad during the entire day, maybe the other one would be The Simpsons.
As to IOA you could do WWOHP early in the morning or 1 to 2 hours before park closing to get the shortest lines.
