can anyone please recommend a good guide book (universal Studio) for me?

and is there any website ,like mousesaver.com, where i can find discount on universal studio's ticket, pass, package???

i have having a lot of difficulty in finding U.S' discount.

The best guide book I have read is Kelly Monaghan's Universal Orlando: The Ultimate Guide. It has very detailed descriptions of the rides and great tips on the restaurants and hotels. I think you will find it extremely helpful.

I agree get Kelly Monaghans book. The best rate seems to be with the Entertainment card.

For park passes, try your local AAA office if you are a member. They have fairly decent discounts. None of the big parks are discounting as much as they used to.

If you book a package through a travel agent, you should be getting a good rate on all the individual elements, although it can be hard to comparison shop. You can try pricing out all the elements separately (airfare, hotel, rental car, park passes) and then asking a travel agent for a package with ALL those elements and see how the price stacks up. The package should probably have a few "extras" thrown in, like a ticket to a dinner attraction nearby. For the sake of comparison, you'll probably want to specify a particular hotel (HRH, for example) and let the agent look around for the best deal on airfare and rental car (since these are pretty much commodities).

Most important tip: Have fun!

Another vote for Kelly's book. It's awesome!

Check your library for Kellys' book, thats where I found mine... (actually they had the older one, told them about the newer one, and they ordered it)

By the time I ordered the book and it was in my hand, was less than a week!

Kelly does a great job with the book! And notice how modest he is about it...

also for tickets...

you can try www.ticketmania.com

or we ordered ours off of the Universal website, they had a discount going, and the tickets were mailed to us in less than a week...

I also recommend Kelly Monaghan's book. An excellent source of information, right down to the latest prices on certain items within the parks, great places for photo ops, and touring plans.
Kelly's book, combined with what you'll learn on this website, will definitely help you learn many of Universal's ins and outs before you go.
