Universal ride restrictions

We've only been to Universal once back in 2013 and I do remember that my husband couldn't ride forbidden journey with us because of his football player size. Which other "newer" rides would he possibly be restricted from? It was so embarrassing for him to try the chairs out in front of everyone. I just want a heads up. THANKS!

From what I've ready, all of the Harry Potter rides can be tough depending on where people carry weight.

Have him watch Theme Park Express on youtube. He has a great channel and tries all the test seats at Universal.

I noticed that in a recent video of a fluffy Vlogger (possibly the one above), that he compensated for his belly by kind of arching his back and hitching his bulk upwards as he clicked the belt apparatus down. So it's where you carry your weight AND how you hold yourself while being buckled.

Maybe his videos will be helpful for your husband, and also, there is NO SHAME in trying out the seats. Or even getting to the front and not being able to ride. Also, some of the rides (either FJ or Gringotts) has bigger seats if you ask for them!

Hagrid's, depending on the size of his legs. If I have anything in my pockets, the restraint sometimes doesn't want to close as far as it needs to.
