We have several IOA/UNIVERSAL days this trip, and I'm wondering where everyone would suggest to eat. We have Mythos booked already. Looking for unique theming and/or great food. TIA.

We mainly ate at citywalk but in IOA we ate at thunder falls which was very good and burgerdigs and our DS's loved wippy burgers at toon lagoon and US we liked mels drive in and finagans

Finnegans in US
Margarittaville and NBA city in CW
Tchoup Chop and Islands Diningroom in RPR

At the Studios...I love Louie's and Finnegan's.

At IOA...I love Thunder Falls Terrace and The Enchanted Oak!

Confisco Grill soon after the entrance to IOA or exit if going out was great in 2005 :)

Claire ;)

Are there better restaurants in Citywalk?
Most of the restaurants at CityWalk are sit down and many take reservations. If you're going during a busy time period, that could pose a problem. I've eaten at Hard Rock Cafe and Margaritaville (which I love!)

My all time favorite is MYTHOS.
At US we really like Lombard's Landing.
At City Walk--Latin Quarter
At te RPR Tchoup Chop.

Margaritaville, NBA City, Hard Rock in Cw. and in US I suggest Mel's

Can't go wrong with any of these places:thumbsup2

We love Margaritaville and Enchanted Oak best. I also love Starbucks in Universal. Not food but a welcome break. :)

Oh, great theming at Monster Cafe. The food isn't great but it's a nice place to get something to drink.

The only place we ate at was NBA City and it was great. In fact I have some pics I'd like to share, is there a special thread for pics???

We enjoyed all of our meals at US/IOA - after the chaos of booking 180 days out at Disney (and inability to switch / change ANY ressie at risk of loosing it altogether at 90 days out!), it was such a surprise to be able to make ressies right at the concierge desk for that very same day at US/IOA! Nice places, and by and large "easier" dining than WDW. We ate at NBA cafe, NASCAR, Hard Rock, Pastamore, Mythos, and Mel's. Of those, my family would tell you Mythos was their fave by far, which is really saying something, since all were considered good! For our upcoming trip, we hope to dine @ those places again, plus try Margaritaville, Enchanted Oak, and Confisco's. SO many good places, never enough time....

Also, you can check out http://www.allearsnet.com/uni/menu/menus.htm for menus to almost all of the restaurants in the resort.

I had some great dining experiences on my last visit. I had great sushi at the Orchid Court Lounge an an awesome asian buffet Saturday night at Islands Dining Room (both at Royal Pacific). Of course I went to Mythos for the bazillionth time. I can't get enough of the Mushroom Brioche and the Risotto of the Day was really different and with Coconut Shrimp this time. SO GOOD.
