Perhaps this is a silly question, however the answer will help us greatly.....
If staying at a Universal Resort hotel without a car, how difficult is it to get to shopping and dining establishments on International Drive? Is a taxi the only option? (the trolley doesn't come that far, correct?)
We are hoping to finalize a trip for our family (our first visit to Universal to celebrate our son's 16th birthday, arriving December 31 for 7 nights) and this will only be our second visit to Florida. Trying to decide on an I-Drive hotel vs. an onsite property.
Any tidbits of wisdom you're willing to share are much appreciated! If we can reasonably easily and cost effectively get from place to place then I am sure I can convince hubby to spend the extra money and splurge for the Royal Pacific
