I have been to Universal once, many years ago, so basically I know nothing about it. We will be at WDW this October, and since my wife and I don't have kids (yet), we would like to try Universal's Fright Night (I think that's what it's called).

1) Can anyone tell me what the cost is for Fright Night? Is the cost in addition to regular admittance? Is it worth the price?

2) We (my wife, MIL, FIL, and I) will likely want to have dinner before hand. My MIL and FIL LOVE Italian food, so I think a restaurant at PBH is a good choice. The choices for a more formal restaurant at PBH seem to be 'Trattoria Del Porto', or 'Delfino Riviera'. Am I missing any? Could anyone shed some light on either of these places? Does anyone have menu links?

Thanx in advance for all your help! :cool:

Last year's prices for Halloween Horror Nights were $36.95 plus tax for peak nights (11,12,18,19, 25, 26 - all Fridays/Saturdays) and $19.95 for off-peak. We got an Annual Passholder discount, but I can't remember how much that was. We were staying at HRH and had planned on doing Saturday 19, but everyone advised us against it (staff at the parks and the hotel) on the basis that it was a sell-out and would be mobbed. We ended up going the following Wednesday and it wasn't too busy at all.

We are staying at PBH next month and, although we haven't eaten at either restaurant you mention, we have read a lot about them. Delfino Riviera is far more upscale than Trattoria del Porto. Here is a link to a menu for DR and another for TDP. I've also seen some photos somewhere - I'll see if I can find them.

Maistre Gracey;
Last two trips to UO and PBH, we have eaten several dinners at Mama Dellas. For a relaxed atmosphere with great service and awesome Italian food, this is the one. The other two restaurants are definitely more formal and require dressing up. If you plan to go straight from dinner to the parks, try Mama's instead.
