universal or seaworld labour day weekend

we are flying out from the uk on sep 3rd, and planning to start hitting the parks over labour day weekend. i had planned for us to do US/IOA on the sat and sunday. however i didn't realise the parks closed so early (6pm). would each park be do-able in one day, bearing in mind that its labour day wkend? the other option i have is to leave them till nearer the end of our holiday (16 & 17 sep) when the crowds should have reduced; which is when i had planned for seaworld and aquatica, (and do seaworld/aquatica labour day wkend instead)
which way round would you do it?

I would switch them around cause the universal parks will be less crowded and you won't have to rush and hope you have a great time

Park hours are always subject to change so you should also check the dates closer to your trip just to make sure.
