Sorry, my mistake! I originally posted this to say the Univeral is offering this deal now on their USA site, but I somehow was logged onto their UK site. So yes, the deal is there, and available to anyone to buy (even US residents), but it is hidden in the UK ticket section.

Thanks Damo, Still Not A Better Offer Than The 7 Day One As We Will Be There For 7 Days. Thanks Anyway.....:) :)

Isn't the $85 per person for 7 days a better deal if you're staying more than 1 day? Does anyone know when the $85 deal ends?

Do you think you'd get in trouble for using them if you're not from the UK? We're going next week, so I'd like to do the electronic pickup, I'd be nervous they wouldn't get here in time!

Other people have used them with no problem. It doesn't state anywhere that you need to be a UK citizen to take advantage of the deal.

No one knows when the $85 deal will end.

Really, anyone used them without any prob. Just curious as I read under "fine print" offer availible for UK residents only

I bought these and had them sent to my home in Michigan this week. The tickets look completely normal. I bought 3 adult ones, and received 3 kids tickets free - total of 6 tickets. Nowhere on the tickets does it say anything about UK residents only. These are great for our family, since we will be in Orlando for 2 weeks, and can use our 5 non-consecutive days anytime we want during that time (in case someone gets sick or we have pouring rain....) Also, if we get bored with Universal/IOA, we can head over to WEtnWild. By the way, the price for the adult ticket for 5 days is $129, which includes a free child's ticket. This is to help you better compare it to the $85 seven day ticket deal to see what works best for you family. Also, on the Universal UK website, it says these expire at the end of 2007, but on the tickets themselves there is no expiration date, though it probably is end of 2007.

Just wondering as I was reading the fine print, it says that you have to show ID. Is that so that they know that you are from the UK. Or are they just normal tickets that anybody can buy at the gates.

ID may be required if tickets don't scan properly. It is not to check for UK residents.

I can say we did this option last week. We purchased online, and printed the tickets at the park. No problems entering or aynthing. We had 2 adults/2 kids so this was a better option for us, as we were only going to Universal for 2 or 3 days. It was definately cheaper for us, $220 versus $340 for 4 of the $85 tickets.

We used these tickets today with no problem whatsoever. And they did not require any type of ID to use them.

Okay, so if anyone reading this can CONFIRM for me, I'm leaving Monday and was going to buy these, as it is a better deal for us, but we're not from the UK.... so how does electronic pickup work? Do your tickets print out at that machine, or do you have to go to a window to pick them up? Are they paper tickets?
It seems that everything is online printer tickets now a days.... our airline tics, our seaworld tics, what if they get wet? Then we're outta luck...as I have an ink jet printer.
I dont like the electronic tickets personally....but oh well.
Anyhow... for those of you who bought these UK tickets and NOT from the UK, how does it work?

is anyone else having this problem. I can find the link that describes the offer but there's no link to buy the tickets.:confused3

Just to let you know also that on the uk website you can order a free vacation dvd. I am from Canada and thought I would see if I could order one and it worked. I recieved it last week. It is short but enough to get you excited about your trip.
