Universal newbie, food question

Hi everyone,
Im going to universal studios for the very first time next week and Im looking for the best places to eat. We have one full day at the park. I have a scooter so we will be there open to close, no park hopping. Any suggestions are appreciated...thanks!

I'm not too sure what is and isn't open but for Studios I'd recommend the Monster Cafe and Mel's diner. Outside definitely give The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium a go and in Islands of Adventure you have to try Mythos. We loved all of these.

Unfortunately you cannot reserve a table at Mel's - in studios you can only reserve a table at Lobard's seafood grille &
Finnegans bar and grill.
