Will be in Disney for a week with a day stop at Universal. I've never really researched Universal before and don't know what they have for restaurants. Is there someone I can see some menus? Thanks a bunch!!!!

Oh great. Now that gives me one more thing to obsess about. :thumbsup2

Thanks!!!!

The servers don't mind if you split a meal, in fact that's the advice I give at Mythos. You can tell the server you're saving room for desert, just tip them well. Kids menu usually has a cut off age of 12, but again, the server isn't going to ask for ID or anything like that.
At Mythos, they give you free bread to start, and a good item to split is the wrap of the day or a cowboy burger. If you scroll near the bottom of this page you can see 4 items at Margaritaville.

Another idea is to order an appetizer and let the kids share. I've heard the volcano nachos are good. Just tell the server the kids are going to share an app, and then you give them bites of what you're eating.

It's nice to look at the menus and plan where you want to go, but I wouldn't be obsessed with it. Some people visit the restaurants and expect the world. You have to remember the number of people they're serving, it's a lot. The food is good, but don't set the bar too high or you'll be frustrated and it will ruin your trip.

We are not fussy eaters...I just look at the menus to get ideas of places everyone in my group can find something to eat.:)

Robvia, I agree that you need to keep in perspective where you are and not expect 5 star dining. But I have to say, I went last September with my husband for my first trip in over ten years and I was really surprised at how good the food was. We honestly did not have a bad meal. And he is still raving about how good dessert was at NBA City and insisted that we are having dinner there on our family trip this November.

Also, robvia, thank you very much for the link to your site with the menus. Because we are taking the kids on this trip, who are much more picky, that will be really helpful in planning where we can go.
