What is the Universal Meal Deal?

"All You Can Eat Pass" all day long (actually until 30 minutes before park closing).

Adults (one park) $18.99 plus tax
Chlidren (one park) $8.99 plus tax

Adults (two park) $22.99 plus tax
Children (two parks) $10.99 plus tax
Beverages are not included.

You can choose 1 entree, 1 side, and 1 dessert each time you go through the line. You can eat as often as you wish during the day.

The participating restaurants at Universal Studios are:
Louie's Italian Restaurant
Mel's Drive-in
International Food and Film Festival

At IOA:
Circus McGirkus
Captain American Diner
Comic Strip Cafe

You can purchase these at the dining and Information Carts at Citywalk, Universal Studios, and IOA and also at the Ticket booths at both parks and Guest Services at either park.

You will receive a wristband that identifies those who have purchased it.

To go along with this meal deal:
You can purchase a souvenir cup for $7 and get unlimited (free!!!) fountain drink refills all day.

wow, this sounds like a great deal! My dh and I are taking a trip this summer with our wendy's/airtran free flights. We have a friend in prison in Fl. so we figured that is where we'll go. We were trying to figure out what else to do while we were there but with the great deals at Universal, I have a feeling I know where we'll be spending our time! Now to get a great room price...lol

no breakfast.....the resturants that are participating are opened for starting with lunch.

Is a 13 yr old considered an adult? If so this probably isn't for us since our teen daughter dosn't eat much.
What are the prices like for kids meals?

Ok, this will probably seem like a silly question, but if we decide to do the meal deal, is there a problem with getting LESS than a meal at these restaurants? Say we're planning a day at IOA, and we eat a very light breakfast in the room (since we know we want to get our money's worth out of the meal deal!) . So at around 11:00 we stop for pizza at Comic Strip Cafe. (We're hungry, because we used our HRH room keys to "express" our way through all the lines at Super Hero Island -- I still feel as if someone will tell me I dreamed that, it's just too good a deal! ). The pizza fills us up, so we really don't want a dessert at that time. But maybe about 2:00 we're passing Circus McGurkus, and we want a piece of cake or a cookie or whatever they have. Any problem just getting that? Has anyone else approached it this way? Thanks ~

Does everyone in your party have to buy one if you choose to purchase a "meal deal"?

I could see our four growing kids on this trip using it well, but I think we adults would not....so I would rather just buy 4 kids ones and a refill cup for me...is that an option?

Only those who purchase the meal deal can get the free refill cups. But yes, you can just buy the meal deal for your kids with no problem. Lots of people do that.
