Universal Meal Deal menu

Is it safe to assume that you can get the 15% annual passholder discount on the UMD? <--- Cool, a new acronym.

I thought you could use this also at the restaurants at the hotels? Is this true? I was thinking I heard Islands at RPR and maybe one at each of the other hotels? Anyone know for sure?

They have a "kids eat free" in the hotel package. But the meal deal posted here is only for the all-you-can eat deal that you buy. This $18.99 meal deal does not include the hotel restaurants.

Can you get other desserts than counter cookies ? Like cheescake or something I know they sell thngs like that at internation food film festival place thing at US

geffric just came back this week from universal and she and her son bought the 2 park wrist band for that meal deal at the parks.

maybe she will see this thread and post to answer your question

if she doesn't, i'll kick her butt and have her come post........... :thumbsup2

for this meal deal thing at Universal do you have to be staying onsite at one of their hotels or can you buy this when you get to the park? Also is there a website that explains everything about this from Universal or how do I find out ALL the offical details about this?

the all you can eat meal deal is for any park patron. you do not have to stay on site to be eligible for it.

there is a thread with the details on it in the forum/universal that is.

also, check the website.

the thread probably will answer most if not all of your questions.

can you get icecream bars? You know like the mickey bars icecream with choc over it?!?!? That is my all time favorite!

No, you can only get things listed on the menu on the first post. No changes, no exceptions.

I am sure this is probably what we will do for at least half of our crew, especially since my son can eat 5X his weight in food.

I have a ? though.

Can kids under 3 eat free with the adult meal deal purchase? (Like eat off our plate, because they don't eat much)

do you have to order these wristbands ahead of time or can you get them at the park?
Is this an on going thing or for a short time?

buy the program/wristbands at one of the places that is listed on page 1.
city walk and at the parks you can purchase them.

they pulled this program a few weeks before i went last fall. hoping it is still valid this october. i do want to buy into it.

Wow, this sounds like a great deal. Will it still be going on in July? What is the age range for kids?

I saw this was asked earlier but did not see an answer to it.

Does anyone have a general price for the kids meals?

Thanks

The kids meals are generally between $5.99 and $6.99. Has anyone out there actually done this yet in 2006? I called Universal the other day b/c the website has no information on the plan. The customer service rep confirmed that the plan was going (right now) and the prices are the same. I would love to hear from anyone who has actually done this recently. I have a 9 year old that eats more than my husband or myself so we will be purchasing this when we go in 2 weeks!

I hope that I am not repeating a question. Here goes:
Is this just for counter service meals? Is there a plan for sit down restaurants? What about the 2 park plan? What are the restaurants for islands of adventure?
Thanks

We are strongly considering getting this plan when we go in May. Which place in each park would you recommend the most?? I know they all pretty much look like burgers and pizza, but is any place better than the others?? :thumbsup2

Also, would it be a problem if my daughter wanted to just pick up fries or a dessert (on the plan menu) during the afternoon? I mean, she doesn't have to get the whole meal each time, right???
