Universal Lanyard plastic compartment dimensions?

Any of you ALWAYS helpful experts out there who would know the dimensions of the plastic compartment?I have a few "generic" lanyards laying around the house, collecting dust, so I thought that we would bring them instead of purchasing the Universal ones. Does anyone know the dimensions of the plastic compartment on the Univeral lanyard? THANKS SO MUCH if you do!

The width of a driver license, credit card would fit in the lanyard length wise with a dab of wiggle room
