Universal jobs

Does anyone know how well jobs at Universal pay? We're thinking of moving to Orlando and since there's not much available with Disney, I thought my husband could try there.

$6.65 is what I was offered. Of course I wasn't expecting much so the pay didn't phase me. I was there because I love Universal.

$6.65 is standard for almost everyone. Pay can differ by department and position. That's all.

Though the benefits are kicka$$. I can't post them here, but can tell you via PM.

I was hoping for a bit more than that. He will be applying for a maintenance type position so I guess we'll see if he even gets called for an interview. Also, I forgot to ask what the best way to apply is, Online or in person?

6.60 is the starting rate for any entry-level position.

There are a great many hourly job positions in the resort that make more than that. You just have to have the education/experience backing you up.

It was a Facilities Craftsworker. He went ahead and applied online last night but today the job has disappeared from the online postings. I was so excited that they had something he qualified for. I guess that means they already hired someone. Does anyone know if they keep your resume on file and for how long? Also, what is the possibility of this type of job showing up again?

I'm gonna guess that they keep it on file for 6 months. As for the possibility of it showing up again, you never know. Just check back periodically.
