Universal/Islands in 1 day Thurs or Friday

Heading to Orlando next week. Going to be doing the Epcot food and Wine Festival on Wednesday. Want to do Universal/Islands either Thursday or Friday. Both parks in one day. Is there a big difference in the crowds on the 2 days? I'm assuming Friday is more crowded than Thursday, typically. We will be quite tired and more than likely even hungover a little on Thursday, from Epcot. Should we just suck it up and go Thursday, or take a free day Thursday and go Friday instead? Thanks for any advice.

It’s totally up to the way you want to experience it. It’s just as you said - Thursday will be less crowded with a hangover and Friday will be more crowded but well rested.

The Studios will probably be more crowded on Friday by around 3pm than on Thursday as more locals/semi locals will be going to HHN Friday night than they do on Thursday.

That said, Since each day has positives and negatives in your situation, I would let the weather determine the day.
