Universal IoA VIP Tour booked

5 hours starting at 10.00am around Christmastime.

I'm sure I heard on the recent DISunplugged podcast that after the 1-park tour you were given VIP access to the other park's rides - but that can't be right can it?

We have tickets for the full two weeks for both parks, so if this were true we would be able to hop across to the other park and jump on the attractions.

Got the VIP tour booked for IoA because even though they won't say that WWOHP will be included in the tour, it would be rough not to IMO. And at that time of year it will be soooo busy anyway.

Yes that is correct. That is what our tour guide told us. Ask for Joe P. when you book. He is awesome.

Humm, I wonder if it's worth it to book one in Aug? We are staying onsite for 4 nights, but I'm worried that with HP, the lines will be long even for express.

Received confirmation from Universal that with a 1-park (and presumably 2-park) VIP tour your VIP pass then gives you access to the Express Lines for all the attractions in both parks with Express Pass access for the remainder of the day after the tour is over. I assume that this would be unlimited Express line access, but I may be wrong.

This then becomes a very attractive deal to us at a very busy time - we're staying offsite so we will save the $22 Valet parking aswell.

Some premier features of the VIP Tour include:

* Complimentary refreshments (coffee, bottled water) upon check-in
* VIP Tour credential and lanyard
* Opportunity for private character meet and greets

Hi I can't seem to find info on this. US site down. I am already staying on property so I have FOTLA already, would a VIP tour help me in any way additionally? But it doesn't cover Potter - correct?

According to the Universal staff they don't yet know if the VIP tours will offer access to WWOHP (although it would be disappointing if VIP tours didn't)

Well I just called the tour line . Very nice lady though she did agree that since I had FOTLA, the tour wasn't as beneficial since at this point in time Potter IS NOT included in it. I tour fantastically and we NEVER wait in lines - but Potter has me nervous. however she told me to try back at the end of May to see if they did decide to add potter but she did say no tours are being given the 18th or 19th of June. I think we will be fine. yes it will be crowded but I will employ all my touring trips and am sure it will be good!

If this is the Joe I'm thinking of, then yes, he is a terrific guy. Then again, most of the tour guides recognize me and are very cordial to me. There's even one that gives me a hug when she sees me, but she and I have known each other for years.
