Looking for some advice. We are headed for Orlando in January/February and have allocated one day for Universal. This will be in first week of February Tuesday or Wednesday. We thought this would be enough but now we are starting to wonder.

We don't want to go and see Harry Potter World as we don't like the books or movies. (Sorry to those who love them! Just not our thing!) We aren't big on thrill rides (coasters ect)

We really are going over for some of the shows, shops and a few rides.

We know that we need to get a 2 parks pass as some of the things we want to do are in IOA and the rest in Universal. We have a few must see things, then a few other things that are high on the list and anything else, we aren't too worried about. If we miss them, we miss them. :confused3

Should one day be enough?

Thanks all!

I think one day will be fine if you aren't doing any of the major coasters and have no interest seeing HP (and it may be too cold for the soaking water rides at IOA). Just keep track of what time the shows you want to see are starting.

-I do suggest trying the butterbear if you like sweets though!

see what is in the parks.
check out the shows in both parks.

if you know what would interest you, and have a plan, you could hit highlights of each park.

Horror Make Up show is a lot of fun!

Thanks for the replies! We know the few rides and shows we want to do. Since the shows run several times a day, we should be fine.

I would recommend Horror Make Up Show AND Beetlejuice Rock n Roll show at Universal. And even though they run the shows several times a day, they don't plan the times of each show so that you will be able to go to the other shows. So you do need to look at a times guide/MAP as soon as you get there and see what times the shows are showing, how long they are, what time it will be finished and see which shows line up better so that you can make sure you see them all. Also, I wouldn't recommend just showing up 3 or 4 minutes prior to the show. I would get there 30 minutes prior to the show start time to make sure you get a decent seat. There really aren't any bad seats at the Horror Make Up show since the theater is kind of small and compact and lower front of the stage seats ARE NOT the best seats at Beetlejuice. If you want to see all the action on stage with a better view, get a seat about half way up the theater and a little to the left.

In IOA you can see the Sinbad stunt show though I didn't really like it. Poseidon's Fury is more cartoony than I like. It wasn't that great either.

The talking water fountain, Patrick, the Mystic fountain right in front of the Sinbad theater is a great fun treat to see if you can catch him talking to ppl.

I wouldn't skip WWOHP just because you aren't fans of HP. It is an awesome little fake village with snow covered roofs. Try the Butter Beer. It is AMAZINGLY GOOD. They have a cute sweets shop and a joke/magic store I guess is what you would call it.

Hope you have a good trip.
