Universal in October, 2 days

We are thinking of a 1 night/2 day trip to Universal on October 10-11 this year. We aren't planning on doing HHN and I was wondering how the decorations are around the park? Are they gory at all?

We are definitely doing Disney, just haven't decided whether to add in Universal too. Thanks!

We've done Universal 3 times in October. The decorations that are out are not scary or gory at all. Lots of pumpkins and things like that but we've never noticed anything really scary.

during regular park hours, there is nothing "gory"

you will see some HHN props and decorations, some vehicles covered with tarps for example

but you won't see anything scary

they keep the scare and the gore for the paying customers, don't worry

you'll be there on a saturday and sunday.
expect crowds in the park those 2 days due to the columbus day weekend.

during the day at the studios, large props/hhn objects will be covered for the most part.
nothing gory will be seen.
