Universal in July???

Just wondering what it's like in July - more specifically the week of July 4th at Universal Studios and IOA? We may have the opportunity to go to Orlando this summer to visit some family and while we can't do Disney, I was considering doing Universal. We did Universal Studios in 2008 when our kids were younger, but now they are 11 and 13 and ready to do IOA.
July 4th probably works best because we get a free day that doesn't count towards vacation for DH and I.

What are everyone's thoughts?

Hot...humid...and VERY VERY crowded. Just be ready to wait and wait and wait in the miserable Florida humidity.

I don't go to the parks in the summer and I live here.
