Are there / will there be any good offers for any of the Universal Hotels inc late deals. The last time we went we got a excellent deal - £300 for a week at Royal Pacific in August. Never in a million years do I think I will get that again

Just think a couple of days there (Aug this year) would be nice and if I can get something for less that £100 a night it might be worth it.

I think the days of under £100/nt at Universal are over. Good luck.

The best rates you tend to get at Uinversal are the Stay More, Save More but usually there is a minimum of 3 nights for that. We got the SMSM last August and paid just over £100 per night.

We paid just under £100/nt Aug 2010 but parking and internet took it way over. We were not over impressed with RPR so no desire to go back.

I've been looking for 1 night end June/ begin July and it's coming in at £236. Won't be staying at that price :sad1:

Lesley, presumably the problem you're having is that one/both of your boys are over 18? Asda seems to have some fairly good rates for 1 night at Universal hotels (30 June - £170ish) but having more than 2 adults in a room will bump the price right up. We have paid more than we would have liked for 1 night there in November but, for us, it's a must as Sian really wants to see WWOHP and, for that, the early entry really is a massive bonus.

We have booked Royal Pacific Resort via Thomas Cook for £141/night . Was nice in past years when we were able to get around £100/night.
But don't think those prices will be back as Harry Potter has kept the occupancy levels high a Loews Hotels.

You're right Joh. One will be coming up to 21 and the other will be 18 in August. I've been putting in 4 adults. Maybe I should try 3 adults and 1 child to see if there's a difference.

Yes, definitely do that. The youngest will be classed as a child for the hotel booking, whilst he is under 18.
