Universal hotel suggestions for family of 5

Too funny! I did notice that difference, and I think that sealed the deal on HRH :) It's nice to have the extra "get ready, brush teeth, wash, hair,make-up..." area, while not taking up the shower/toilet area . Now I'm on a mission to find a discount so I can upgrade to the HRH deluxe :thumbsup2

I was debating between RPR and PBR when I read this. I went back and looked at the room layouts and this also sealed the deal for us to stay at RPR on our upcoming summer trip. A larger room would have been nice but I cannot image all of us getting ready in time without a sink outside of the bathroom area. Now that I have a hotel selected I need to read up on everything else.

Just returned last night from a stay at the HRH in a deluxe queen. There were 4 of us. Myself, my husband and our kids 18 and 21. Since they are the opposite sex the ability to each have their own bed was important. At 500 square feet there was plenty of room and the bathroom set up with one sink outside the bathroom and another inside was great. The small area where the closet is with the fridge and a large counter was great. We stopped at Publix and had plenty of room for our breakfast foods and snacks/water.

We also were on the first floor near the end of the hallway close to the exit and the walk to the parks was even quicker given our room location.

We really like the HRH it was our second stay and for our family this our hotel/room of choice. I got a promo code from Orbitz and they often run 20% and sometimes 25% off the rates. Cheap Tickets also does the same.

This sounds exactly like what we did for our first Universal trip. We have 2 teens(opposite sex). DH and myself slept in one queen, DD slept in other and DS spelt on air mattress on floor. The layout of the deluxe queen room was great. We were also on the first floor near the hallway that went out to the boat dock.

The only problem with HRH is that it is not our style. So this summer we booked a garden view queen at PBH. A twin air mattress should fit for DS. I'll probably have to have staggered wake up times for bathroom use.;) Hopefully it all works out.

If I could take HRH deluxe queen room and put it at PBH it would be ideal.

I came close to booking PBH, it is so lovely but stuck HRH as our kids seemed to prefer it. If your son is like mine, he won't need much time to get ready. :goodvibes Have a great trip!
