Hi guys
Got my 8 nights in Port Orleans booked okay and was about to book my 4 nights into the Universal Royal Pacific for September next year but their rates have shot up from previous visits.

For £50 a night less i can get by the description at least a nice suite in the new Cabanas Resort which would be nice and different for us i suppose given the room is mainly just for sleeping in.

The main difference i can see is you do not get the Express Pass in the Cabanas but you do get the early admission. Now most Septembers when we go it;s usually quite "quiet" in we rarely get a huge benefit from the Express Passes but just wonder if the new HP expansion is going to make next September a lot busier and the Express Pass worth and extra £50 a night?

I'd do it to save £200. You also have four days so will be sure to do it all.

I agree, you could do both parks in a day if you didn't want to see everything, plus it's low season so crowds should be manageable save the £200 - you could always buy an express pass with the difference for one day if it's busy.

After pricing what a days Express Pass would cost for 3 adults for a day and being shocked at the $240 price tag i've decied the extra money for the Royal Pacific is actually quite reasonable given we get Express pass for 5 days in effect!!

I'm assuming this could be more useful in September 2014 than in previous September trips with HP in the Studios bound to bring in a lot more custom than usual.

Except that, with the express passes, you won't need anywhere near 4 nights. 2, perhaps.
