Can any of the hotel rooms fit 5 in a room? And how would that configure... 2 queen beds & a fold out couch or a cot or ????

Anyone know?

And the special perks aren't limited to 4 per room or anything is it? Like the Park front of the line pass, etc...

It would be my parents, me & my husband & your 12yr old daughter.

You are allowed two adults in each room without extra charges...just like Disney. Each adult after 2 will be $25 extra per night.

You can have a maximum of 5 people with a max of 4 adults in each room.

Most Deluxe rooms have a pullout of some sort (none at RPR). All two bed rooms are queens. You can rent a cot for $25/night.

Perks aren't limited but room occupancy is. As long as you obey the room occupancy rules, you will receive a room key for each person in your party. That room key is your express pass and will allow you early admission.

Most rooms would be pretty tight with 4 adults and a child.

I know you can get a rollaway bed for an additional $25 (?) per night, but I would really suggest looking at two rooms or one of the double rooms.

If you and your husband don't mind being on a pull-out, and getting a rollaway for your daughter, you might be ok in a King suite, which may be cheaper than two separate rooms.

They only allow 3 people in a king suite at RPR. At PBH, you could get a Portofino suite but it would probably be cheaper to get two rooms at the RPR.

With 5 people, you can still get by with one room. I would suggest pricing out a PBH deluxe room with 2 queen beds.

According to the Loewshotels.com website: The PBH deluxe room has 490 sq feet space. The PBH standard room has 450 sq feet space. The HRH standard room has 375 sq feet. The HRH deluxe 2 queen has 500 sq feet. The RPR standard room size isn't listed, but I believe they are smaller than HRH's standard room size.

I have 5 people staying in a standard room at RPH this March and they didn't charge me extra....hhm. It is 3 adults and 2 children (2 of these "adults" are 18 yr old kids of mine...but they do not distinguish...still adults).

We are planning on taking an air bed to use instead of paying the $25 for a roll away. We can stand it up or even place it on top of one of the queen beds while we are there.

Will be crowded I know but do not want to pay for another room so we will make do.

That was my thought... it would only be for 2-3 nights & off to our Disney Cruise - so kinda thought we would save the money but still have the OnSite perks!

Was looking for 2 full or queen beds & a couch - but no where do I see anything like that at them. (my husband is more comfortable on couches so that would have been his! lol)

So if we don't pay for a "cot/roll away bed" my daughter can sleep on the floor & just use blankets & pillows (extra upon request) but still get the onsite hotel perks?

yes, we usually just bring an air mattress when we stay at RPR. The Deluxe rooms at the HRH have 2 Queen beds and a pullout sofa and are 500 sq ft but they book up quick. If they are not showing up on your dates it just mean that they are sold out. Have you looked at the HRH? What are the dates you are going?

Thats what they told me when I asked about it....may be worth a call just to make sure.

Like pixiegrl said, the deluxe room at the HRH might be right for you guys. It has 2 queens and a full pullout. Most deluxe rooms at the PBH have a small pullout. Probably not good for your husband.

Everyone in your room gets the perks included with staying onsite, as long as they are all registered as guests in the room. A hotel key with names and ages is given to each guest and is used as your express pass and your early admission.

On one of our first trips to Universal we had five in a regular room at HRH and we managed just fine. We had 3 adults and two "kids" - one in early 20s and one late teens. We rented the rollaway and just put it towards the door at night and kept it folded during the day. For the amount of time we were in the room we had no problems.

.

This is what we did at RPH in December. It was tight, but worked out just fine for us. With some reconfiguring of their furniture, we put up 2 air mattresses as my teen sons were funny about sleeping in a bed with another person.:confused3

We are a family of 6-with 3 teen boys. One of our DSs stayed in my brother's adjoining room with his family (only 3 of them). We got all of the front of the line/early entry perks.

You can make it work.

No...it was on the main Universal board but I moved it. No worries.

Oh...silly me...when you posted that I looked up at the top of the screen and saw it was on the hotel page...I guess you must have moved it right before that....

Kelly:rolleyes1

Just a word of warning for those thinking about sleeping on the floor instead of renting the cot-it is freezing! We tried this at the HR last August because we were only staying one night. Brought our own air mattress and I tried to sleep on the floor. I don't know if it was because of the cement floor or what, but I couldn't sleep at all because I was so cold. I had to get up in the middle of the night and push the people on the bed over because I couldn't stand it.

There is plenty of room to put a twin size air mattress if you move the chair by the window-I don't think you could fit a double/full size one though.
