We did HHN at universal studios last night and i have to say it was brilliant there were 7 houses including the Bates hotel and scare zones. If anyone is coming over and undecided about it i can highly recommend it although not for children my 16 year old DD was screaming her head off. We went into the restrooms and as we were coming out i looked round the corner and screamed to frighten Beccie unfortunately she screamed so loud she frightened a poor lady who was sitting on the loo!!!!!!!!

Sounds as though you are having a fab time ~ I'm really looking forward to going to the HHN again next year.

Has anyone got any ideas what to do with a 12 year old whilst mum and dad go to the Halloween nights - we are staying at the HRH.....anyone used the Lil' Rock Kids Club?

ooh plz tell us more :)
We have the frequent fear pass, how scary are the haunted houses i dont know if i will have the nerve to go in one!! I read somewhere that they are not allowed to touch you, is this true (hope so!!) if so how else do they scare you??? I dont like suprises!!
What was the zombie & vampire scare zones like?
DF is terrified of both & i think he might run away & leave me!!!!
I picture it: a street full of mist & they come out at you!! Do they come out quickly or slowly??
Sorry for so many questions but i'm hungry for info :)

Tracey I will post more when i get back on friday haven't really got time at the moment in a internet cafe

Tracey, as promised - a day late only woke up at midday today !!the HHN was brilliant, if only to see our DD aged 16 be scared out of her skin (this is the DD who watches horror movies until the early hours of the morning). The scare actors can not touch you, it is just the unknown which is the scary bit - the houses were great - if you get there early enough the queues aren't too bad (we arrived about 6.30 after dining at City Walk, and crowds were building steadily). Queues for the Houses were about 10 mins, apart from Bates Motel which said 20 mins but seemed a lot longer, must be the back stage queuing area they used.
Scare Zones were brilliant, in the dark you think you are walking past a regular ordinary guy and he turns out to be a Zombie- awesome. The chain saw wielding guys were great as well, and the biker guys who just kept riding around the streets

DH's philosophy was that they can't touch you, and just keep on walking - you will soon be out of it ! It was scarey but also great fun. I laughed all the way through it :rotfl2: (mostly at DD's expense) - ps Jaws in the dark is awesome.

Thanks for the info - glad you had a good time! :thumbsup2

I can't decide if i want to go or not - I think I wait until I'm "over there" before I make my final decision! :)

Thanks for the info :)
Glad you had a great time!
