I have the option to go to Sea World or Universal for a last minute vacation. I also have a 4 and 2 yr old, not sure either are more kid friendly over Disney, but sure are cheaper. Haven't been to either so opinions are much appreciated!

Even if you can't get to both parks (IOA & the Studios), I would say Universal over Sea World. There really isn't much in IOA except for Suess Landing for the little ones, however the Studios has much more. Sea World is nice, but I don't think little ones do well sitting in shows, just my opinion. Sea World is mostly made up of shows to watch. I know they have the kid harbor play area, but nothing compared to what Universal has.

We took my kids to both US and Sea World when they were very young. I think as US goes, I would say go to the Studios park as IOA is more of a thrill park. Sea World is a great park for kids as they really only have 2 thrill rides and everything else is either fun or educational in a fun way. Most kids love animals anyway so I would go ahead and do Sea World and let them grow up a little more before doing US or IOA.

love seaworld, but keeping the little ones focused in that park would be tough. they may even be scared of a couple of exhibits. shamu's happy harbor is fun, but it's geared towards a little older kid crowd.

US would be my pick. barney live on stage, animal planet live, nick characters. the fieval play area and the curious george waterpark. jimmy neutron, and shrek 4D. more options than IOA. have fun. :)

We went to US and IOA for the first time this summer. My kids are 13,15 and 18. My 15 yr. old daughter said over and over that she wished we had went when they were little. I think there's alot for little ones.

DD3 loved Sea World. She did sit through the shows and was totally amazed by Shamu. However, it did not hold her attention at 13 months old, she was more taken with all the stairways inside the stadiums then! :rotfl:

Between US and IoA: I agree with other posters here - US has more for little ones - Barney is a must! Both DD and our niece loved this show!
