Universal Express pass?

We're all booked for our day at US/IOA (Sunday 3rd April)

We have the one day to do both parks, with friends who haven't been before.

Passes are $32 each for the day, which I think is a good price to get on plenty of the rides on the one day we have.

I'd love to hear your experiences.

We have Premium AP's now which include Express pass but before that (and if we want to go before 4pm) we have always bought them.

If you don't like queues, which we REALLY don't or you just want to get everything done in a day then they are fantastic. In quiet (er) seasons Express pass enables you to walk on, in more busy seasons the wait can be up to 15 mins. We have never queued longer than that.

We nearly bought the express passes a few years ago, but when we realised that the pass only allowed one express go per ride we backed out knowing the kids would want to do certain rides several times. Dont know if its still the same but worth knowing IMO.

It is the same yes.

Also Harry Potter is not included........yet.

You can buy the express passes in the park the day of your visit if you decide that the lines are too long for you. You don't save any money buying them in advance and may find them unnecessary.

If you do buy them save them until you actually need them. We see people all the time using their express passes first thing in the morning when you can walk in to the regular line with no wait. Get there early, ride as many things as you can then save the passes for when it gets crowded later in the afternoon.
