Going in September -- considering the 2-park/1-day pass. We have two young children who won't be interested in most of Universal's attractions. Some questions/request for opinions...

One, if we do express pass, can we reasonably do both parks in one day?

Two, if we buy the express pass on the child ticket, can the adults use their express pass on the rides the kids don't want to do?

Three, where can I find consolidated advice on how to tour US other than the UG? TourGuideMike-like info on what days to go for best crowd-level, which order to do the attractions, etc? Or is UG a really good resource for that?

Four, is US pretty much like MGM? We just did MGM in Nov, and it's so lame other than RnRC and ToT. I'm thinking if we do US, we can skip MGM. It's been so long since I was last at US; I think they've beefed it up some since and it sounds more interesting than it was in 1998.

thanks,

The express is the same for both adults and children. If your children aren't riding something, feel free to use the express for yourself. It is only good for one time on each ride or show so don't try to use it twice.

I would suggest reading this book.Universal Orlando, 2007 Edition: The Ultimate Guide to the Ultimate Theme Park Adventure

It's nothing like MGM. I would suggest you do both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. You won't regret going! Both are amazing theme parks!
